After a rigorous and meticulous process that began with a re-evaluation application on January 22, 2024, continued with the submission of General Evaluation Reports on July 8, 2024, and concluded with a site visit on December 15–17, 2024, the Engineering Faculty programs were recognized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the Engineering Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association (MÜDEK)—the only national organization authorized to award the EUR-ACE label by the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE)—and were deemed worthy of renewed accreditation.
In this context, the Environmental Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Materials Science and Engineering programs within the ESTÜ Faculty of Engineering have achieved significant success by renewing their accreditation until September 30, 2030, while the Computer Engineering program is accredited until September 30, 2027.
Regarding the results, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Hanife APAYDIN ÖZKAN, stated, "First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude to our University Administration, especially our esteemed Rector, for their support in our accreditation efforts. We hope this achievement will be a strong source of motivation for new steps that will advance our Faculty, and we believe we will continue to work with the same unity and determination."
Rector Prof. Dr. Adnan ÖZCAN stated, "This important result is a consequence of Eskişehir Technical University's quality-focused vision in education, teamwork, and the continuous improvement efforts carried out with determination. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all our academic and administrative staff who contributed to the process."
Eskişehir Technical University has once again demonstrated its commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement by successfully completing the MÜDEK accreditation process for the Faculty of Engineering programs.
